The book is really a summary of her approach to life coaching and its importance to helping people realise and reach their full potential.
And some of the chapter titles are different to say the least.
Take, for example, such headings as Drink Water, Laugh, Kiss and Cuddle, Self Discipline, Passion and Quality Relationships - all subjects she says that are vital to allow you to experience happiness to the fullest!
The former Austinmer resident, who now lives at Warilla, is a past student of Bulli High School and completed a commerce and marketing degree at the University of Wollongong before joining the workforce. But it didn’t take long for Jodie to realise success in life and the workplace needed other attributes and some four years ago she launched Advanced Coaching Solutions.
The real idea for the book came when Jodie’s best friend, Olivia Beath, returned from living in Malaysia and created a beautiful photographictribute of her trip which Jodie couldn’t help marvel at.
Jodie put together an initial book and five copies were printed, but she decided she could improve on this effort and Bringing Happiness Home is the splendid result.
And Jodie is also up in the air after being awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Illawarra’s Young Business Person of the Year contest.
She says her next project will be to launch a Happiness Club in January which will be based at Green Poppy in Shellharbour Village. The aim of the club Jodie says “is to cultivate and share happiness”. She hopes it will be a concept that spreads like wildfire and that happiness, en masse, is the result.
As well as her book Jodie has also produced a set of eight CDs which embrace the messages in her literary achievement.
Bringing Happiness Home is an ideal Christmas present at only $19.95 and if you buy five you get a sixth copy free.
